When Seattle-based blog 206UP reached out to us to say they had a video interview with Gabriel Teodros and would we be interested in running it on our site, we said yes! Yes! The Monarch Stoop Sessions 1.2 (Full Video)
Tuesday, October 21, 2014 10:47 — 0 Comments
A few months ago, the beautiful Watt sisters of Seattle Living Room Shows and Seattle Secret Shows came together with The Monarch to put together the first-ever Stoop Sessions. The sunny afternoon featured the music of Kris Orlowski, Ravenna Woods, Evan Flory-Barnes, Joel Myers and Caleb Thompson. The day was filmed by Tos Fackenthall and the video was edited by Jonathan Baab. Very graciously, American Music in Fremont helped to support the event, as well. Here, now, we have the 24-minute video of the day to share with you. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!Â

I woke up this morning in Fort Stockton, Texas. The Super 8 Motel room’s air was cool, and smelled faintly of dried vomit (by-product of a previous tenant). Our cockroach companion still lay cooling himself in the porcelain tub, where we left him last night. I couldn’t stop thinking about him for an hour as I was falling asleep last night – between dreaming that my bedsheets were infested with a swarm of cockroaches, or that I was transforming into a 5 foot bug myself (in Kafka ‘Metamorphosis’ style), I had a hard time letting myself drift off. Despite all […]
